Lines

A line is a series of points that extend in both directions. The straight leaves represent lines. These leaves represent very good lines.

                                                            Plane

 

This wall is my plane. A plane is a flat surface that contains many lines and extends in all directions. This is the wall that most looks like a plane to me.

Point

This pole represents my point. A point is a location in a space, it can be anywhere in a space. A point also has no size. The point is the top of this pole.

Transversal

These are transversal lines. transversal lines are lines that intersect at least two other lines in different points. These lines great examples of transversal lines in the nature.

Adjacent Angles

These are adjacent lines. adjacent lines are lines that share a vertex and a side but no points in their interiors. The vertex that they share is the middle point.

Congruent Angles

These are congruent angles. Congruent angles are angles that are exactly the same. the inside of the wing represents congruent angles.

Acute Triangle

This is an acute triangle. The triangle angle is less than ninety degrees. This building is a great example of acute triangles in architecture.

Right Triangle

This is a right triangle. A right triangle has one ninety degree angle. It took me a while to find a picture that represents a right triangle, but i think it is a great example.

Isosceles Triangle

  

The roofs of these houses look like isosceles triangles. Isosceles triangles are triangles with two congruent sides and one side different.
